This brand new luxury villa in Jamaica was completed in March 2020.

Its location is stunning, right on the water’s edge, overlooking the crystal clear blue waters that Ocho Rios is well-known for. Entry to the villa is through the private compound of Hermosa Cove Boutique Resort.

This incredible new villa faces the ocean front and center. From the minute you enter the villa, through the dramatic Jequitiba wood ceiling entrance way and over-sized pivot door, your eye meets the Caribbean Sea. It is home to an excellent collection of artisan pieces representing the very best of Jamaican artists including Dougall, Mara Made, Pinto Pottery and Dready.

This cool, chic, modern villa is the epitome of ocean edge living. The sunken level sitting room benefits from wide openings to the verandah. The custom artisanal dining table made from one piece of Tamarind, seats 18 and is a piece of art in itself. There is an air-conditioned games room that leads into the media room filled with enormous comfy sofas and an 85” flat screen television, perfect for a cozy evening watching a movie or a football game.

There are two ground-floor bedroom suites as well as four suites upstairs along with the Sky Gazing Deck furnished with over-sized double reclining umbrella chairs to relax and look out at the infinity edge view of the horizon.

This home is conducive to outside living along with the shallow entry, infinity edge pool which has a Baja ledge with sun shelves and an adjacent hot tub for 14.

The Almond Tree terrace with barbecue is a shaded terrace overlooking the sandy beach area to the east. A lower terrace with sun loungers, a 3 pin putting green and numerous other quiet areas for peace and tranquility are available to guests. Next door to the villa (via a gate) is the small sandy beach of Hermosa Cove Boutique Resort, perfect for swimming in the calm, reef protected bay.

The cottage which is accessed through its own private entrance or along the seaside path, sits in its own private garden giving guests a secluded space to hangout. Or, it is an amazing location for a gathering on the water’s edge and an incredible dining experience overlooking the beautifully lit clear, shallow waters below. It has a small sitting area and service kitchen with two ground floor bedrooms and a double width Master Suite upstairs with a large balcony. Surrounding the cottage is a small lawn, two covered gazebos and a 16’ x 8” plunge pool.

Pickleball Court – Pickleball is a paddleball sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Two or four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, with 26-40 round holes, over a net.

Buttonwood Reef does not accept any outside guests during the day or evening or for any meals.
The homeowner of Buttonwood Reef does not permit outside guests, weddings or any other hospitality event. All outside vendors must be approved in advance of rental by the home owner.

*High Season and Holiday periods – 7 night minimum

*Staff Gratuity is an additional 10%-15% of the total Rental Value
