Rose Cottage – Tryall

Rose Cottage, a six-bedroom villa in Tryall, built in 2008, sits quietly yet dramatically on a plateau affording exceptional mountain and ocean views.

Designed by Nancy D. Maffasanti in traditional Jamaican style, the house is decorated in an elegant arrangement of themes influenced by Asia, Jamaica and Europe…it is both elegant and comfortable and meant to be enjoyed!

Rose Cottage’s many pavilions exhibit elements of design which allow for tropical breezes throughout; promoting efficiency of cooling and warming through natural ventilation. Additionally, the rooms all have ceiling fans and some rooms like the bedrooms are all appointed with ceiling fans and air conditioners.

The main house includes four bedroom suites, a formal living room, an open study and an open veranda/great room with panoramic views of Montego Bay.

The Master Pavilion, the fifth bedroom suite with its sitting room equipped with audio visual equipment, beverage refrigerator/icemaker, sit atop the formal dining room, has a 360 degree view of the property, as well as a spectacular sunset view over Sandy Bay.

Rose Bud, the sixth bedroom suite is a separate 1,900+ square foot one bedroom cottage with a full master bathroom with Jacuzzi, a sitting room equipped with audio visual entertainment equipment, beverage refrigerator with icemaker, and a powder room with a shower and a verandah with breathtaking views of the Sandy Bay shoreline.
