Wild Orchid is a spacious, Caribbean chic 5 bedroom 4 bath villa with panoramic views and a stunning garden.

The expansive, luxurious Wild Orchid villa is located on a hillside in Cap Estate and enjoys a 270 degree vantage of the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean. The villa’s unique bluff-side perch takes in the northwest Coast, the historic National Park of Pigeon Island, Martinique and the majestic Mount Gimie. At Wild Orchid, the sound of the ocean is constant and local fishing boats and cruise ships trail past into the horizon. Sunset and night time views at this villa are magnificent; the south coast becomes aglow and Martinique shimmers in the Atlantic Ocean.

This unique 5-bedroom, 4-bath villa was built to take advantage of St. Lucia’s famous trade winds, and as such, the house is open and cool and boasts several outdoor living and lounging spaces. Three of the over-sized open bedrooms feature air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and traditional netting. The two bedrooms of the first floor include en suite bath with shower and have pool and sea views.

The master bedroom encompasses the entire second floor. It also has a unique shower room overlooking the mountains. There are two balconies; the southern one enjoys views of St. Lucia’s southwestern coast; the northern balcony overlooks the ocean and island of Martinique.

A covered veranda runs the entire length of the house, and includes a welcoming seating area and outdoor dining area. The extra large swimming pool is encircled by a tiled deck, and is well equipped with dining table, loungers and umbrellas, encouraging lazy days in the sun… or shade… under the flower trimmed trellis.

Inside, there is a spacious ‘great room’ with vaulted ceilings with local wood beams that bring Caribbean style and warmth to the area. Adjacent is a formal dining room. A large, modern, fully equipped kitchen complete with an outside covered barbeque patio provides a variety of dining options. Wild Orchid contains mature gardens with a variety of tropical plants and has become a haven for many species of butterflies and wild birds. The gardener/groundskeeper (Mr. Clovis/Dragon) is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna and would be most happy to familiarize you with the tropical plants and birds.
