Hi There Rimma,

Let me begin by saying that the villa is charming and lovely, and the setting is almost ideal. The artwork inside the house is particularly interesting and beautiful. My kids swam and swam, sunbathed and read, and so did my husband and I. I do wish there was a “real” beach, but I was also prepared for this via an accurate description of the property, so I can’t really complain.

There is a rather big bauxite plant that is highly visible from across the bay. It is unattractive –it sticks out like a sore thumb. I wish it hadn’t been there, but that is also a small thing.

The van driver, Omar, was actually amazing. He was very careful and expert on the roads, but also smart and knowledgeable. He grew up in the area, knew how to get around well,  and let us in on the best places to eat/swim/shop, and also knew about the region’s history and culture. He was also funny and warm, but not intrusive. All in all he really contributed to our very good time.

We really did like the cook and the asst. cook/house cleaner, Miss Elva and Angela. We treated them with respect and gratitude because they were very hard working, conscientious, and talented. The food was interesting and good!  We saw Miss Elva and Angela working all the time–cleaning, cooking, bringing towels, etc.

Hi Rimma,

It went great thank you.  I highly recommend the staff.  Jennifer the cook was outstanding and Kim the housekeeper was great. They were always professional, courteous, kind and helpful.

The villa was well lived in and although it had many antiques, nick nacks, etc, it was tastefully done.  The house and grounds were very clean and well maintained.  The kitchen and bathrooms were modern and well appointed.

The adults really enjoyed being on the golf course and the kids loved the golf cart use.

Hope these comments help.

As for March Break, we would love to go back to Barbados and try another villa near Gibbs beach area.

We stayed at Oyster Bay in Barbados. The location is absolutely perfect – the nicest beach we saw on the island was right in front of our place! The house staff was excellent (especially Shauna, the cook). The house was good value as I know Barbados is very expensive and for this location, no other price would come close! The house is dated – bedrooms were all very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen and other furnishings could use a makeover for sure – but we spent most of our time outside anyways so it didn’t matter! The house isn’t luxury, but the location is paradise.

My Review: St.Martin villa
By virtue of it’s location, magnificent views are a given! Well maintained, clean, nicely appointed and worth every penny! The housekeeper was amazing, always friendly and very good at what she did! Ample everything including nicer towels, linens, dishes, stemware, etc. compared to some places we’ve rented in the past. The kitchen is gourmet and the pool bar is easily stocked! The pool is beautiful, and this property proved less windy because of it’s positioning than some that overlook the pond more directly. The position of the pool means that by about 4:00 in the afternoon it was shaded because of the positioning of the sun by that time. Comfy and clean rooms, nice beds, beautiful bathrooms and a washer and dryer on the premises. Very safe area, not any issues the two weeks we were there, felt very secure. A few minuses – no Keurig style coffee pot (leave them at home) and the oven didn’t work properly. At the end of the day, we’d highly recommend this property! Thank you once again Rimma

We truly enjoyed Villa Victoria. The villa, the staff, and Sam were great! The views were incredible! The location was convenient to both the Dutch & French sides of the island. Also appreciated was the gate at the bottom of the mountain insuring a comfortable stay with doors open most of the day. We only used 2 of the bedrooms and there were three with king beds plus one with bunks. Nice dining area but we did not have one meal inside. 2 additional outdoor dining tables, made it impossible to stay inside. We will return.

This home was fabulous and perfect for our group of 10! We enjoyed it so much we rarely left the property. IF YOU HAVE SMALL CHILDREN IN YOUR GROUP, be advised that 3 of the 5 rooms have separate entrances from the house. Since our kids are adults this worked perfectly, but would have been an issue if they were under 18, in my opinion. Celeste was more than helpful with any questions we had and the staff was also WONDERFUL!

The house is spectacular both inside and out. Spacious, comfortable, relaxing. We had 9 people including small children. We enjoyed the pool, the gardens, the beach and the luscious green foliage. We were pampered by Jane and Joy with delectable meals and service. Even Alexa entertained us with our choice of music throughout the day and night. We will definitely be back again and again and highly recommend anyone who wants a little piece of heaven to visit Villa Cupola.

The Villa: Fairway Manor is Beautiful. We loved it. You delivered as promised.

The Staff : Excellent. All were very gracious and willing to make our stay as wonderful as possible.

The Chef: We met with him on day one, shared with him our likes and dislikes, informed him that he could make choices of his own and that would be fine. I also emphasized to him my allergies to nuts, peanuts, etc. which he accommodated well.

He had so much historical knowledge about Jamaica and was WONDERFUL overall.

 Our daughter Jody and Tom, who you planned their wedding in Jamaica years ago, that was an amazing experience and we are all still talking about it. Everything was arranged to perfection for such a large group and using 2 properties. You are the best and handled all details.

were suppose to be on a Western Hemisphere van trip got sidetracked and are back home living with us until the world opens again. We are still skiing but have no trips planned for 2021. Very strange. I want you to know when we’re able to do a beach holiday we will check in with you!

We just got back from our eight day family vacation at the Thomas House villa in Montego Bay Jamaica and the villa was just as you recommended. The morning view was breathtaking looking at the beautiful ocean and the luscious grounds off the balcony.. Cedric the butler personalized our every need no request was ever too much. The food was delicious. Lucille the cook did an excellent job preparing a traditional Jamaican meal every day. Judy and Somera the housekeepers kept the house immaculate. Ricky the gardener kept the grounds looking picture perfect and immaculate. My only complaint is that the entertainment system needs to be updated. I will definitely be staying in this villa again and I would recommend this villa to anyone considering booking it.

Hey Rimma.

We had a really good time in Jamaica. The weather was perfect and it was very relaxing. The place that we stayed at was a bit dated and run down the staff really made up for it with a very good experience. They were very attentive and did a really great job. Keisha was an excellent cook and every meal she made was delicious. She made us Jamiacan food every nght and it was wonderful. Both guys at the house were super sweet and attentive. We really enjoyed the staff. Garfield was our driver and he was so awesome. He really helped us with our itinerary and gave us a lot of good tips on where to go and what time of day, etc. He was really courteous and all of our guests just loved him. They put together a meal poolside one night with some African drummers and a huge feast- it was really nice- we very much enjoyed that! One thing that was lacking was poolside lounge chairs- they only had a couple and there a bunch of us at the house but the house manager quickly accommodated the request for more and pulled some from a local water park which was very kind. We DID get the basketball hoop and our son enjoyed shooting hoops while we were there. Your request for stocking groceries before we got there was a great idea. It was nice to have some basics there when we arrived and while we acclimated for the first day or two.  The house is really spacious and definitely can hold a lot of people. More bath towels and beach towels would have been a good addition. It was a little sparse on that end but nothing major. Also, the cook approached me and asked us to tip the staff directly. She seemed very distraught by the notion that the house manager would probably ask us to give her the tip money to then pass on to the house staff. I was happy to pay the staff directly but was caught a little of guard. I was sort of getting the impression that she feared that management would skim off the top. She told me the house manager would probably ask for the tip money but she never did so it did not become an issue. I’m not sure what the typical protocol is but you might want to define or make recommendations in regards to that for your guests. 

We had a great time and appreciate all of your help and advice putting our trip together for us. We travel a lot and will definitely reach out to you again!

Just what we needed. I want to give a huge thank you to Rimma. She was able to take everything I asked for and find the perfect place for me and my friends.

This trip started out to be a birthday getaway for one of my friends. A group of us got together and started planning this vacation for her. Sadly a week before we were to leave she died in a tragic car accident. There was a point where we wasn’t sure if we should still go. But we did and it was amazing. We could tell that she was there with us and celebrating her life.

We had a fabulous time staying at the Wag Water Villa in Ochos Rios, Jamaica in mid January – a most enjoyable holiday. The staff were great – particular emphasis on Miss Madge and Latoya who absolutely provided a 5 star experience. We were lucky with the weather which was beautiful and sunny every day. Also very lucky to be allowed by the Villa Manager to use the private beach adjoining the main villa on the plantation on our last day – a real treat. Otherwise, Reggae Beach, a 2 minute drive down the road was easily accessible the other days and we had the place to ourselves!

We had a fabulous time there, a most enjoyable holiday. The staff were great – particular emphasis on Miss Madge and Latoya who absolutely provided a 5 star experience. We were a little shocked by the cost of food – probably spent around $us1000 for the week for just two of us plus our toddler so that was a surprise.

We were lucky with the weather which was beautiful and sunny every day.

We gave more specific feedback directly to Rory the manager on our departure.

I don’t think I’ve told you what an amazing vacation we had this year. Thank you so much for suggesting the villa Serenity on the beach in Montego Bay , Jamaica to me.

Our driver Andre was such a sweetheart as well, great job. As we arrived at the villa the staff offered us a drink made with bananas. My son gets an itchy throat if he eats bananas but nothing serious. He was hot and thirsty so he drank it. Within minutes his face was swollen and eyes almost swollen shut. We were worried his throat would close up so Andre took him to the dr. They were back in 45 minutes, the dr charged $39 and the prescription was $15. Best news of all was he was fine soon after taking the meds. Imagine the cost if we were in the states! LOL!

The week was so relaxing and went way too fast though. I loved the villa and loved, loved ,loved my room. Oh, to wake up there everyday! The staff was warm, friendly and efficient, food was amazing!!! I’m sure they say the same thing to all the guests but they said we were so easy and they would miss us and hoped to see us next year.

Thank you once again and looking forward staying at Azur Sky in Negril, which I miss so, next fall. rThanks once again.

We had a fantastic time staying at the Bell’mare on the Dutch side of St. Marten! It’s a lovely place right on the ocean, on a beautiful island, with a lot of very friendly locals. First of all, the house is absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations (it was perfect for our needs). The entire staff (Ruth, the housekeepers & security personnel) are to be commended for their professionalism and the exceptional service they provided for us. As for Frankie, is like family now, he truly made our stay in Cabarette / Sosua the best overall experience we’ve had while traveling together (and that’s saying a lot, because we’ve traveled many places together over the past 10 years). The housekeepers also provided first class cooking services for us, which made things a lot easier and less stressful. Any issues we experienced (which were few), Ruth addressed immediately!! just wanted to drop a note about the Punto Blue property we stayed in St Maarten. Great beach front property (Pelican area) walking distance to many restaurants, but when in St Maarten you should plan on renting a car to get total island experience. 3 Bdrm accommodations were great, with beautiful / huge lanai, nice shared pool (on the cool side)& awesome sunsets.
